Visitor Safety and Guidelines
- Our volunteers and staff have adopted several practices to keep us all safe and comfortable.
- They are cleaning high-touch surfaces regularly.
- They are directing capacity for each room to ensure physical distancing.
- They offer touch-free transactions at Admissions and in our Gift Shop.
- Staff and volunteers ask you to join us in doing our part by practicing the following:
- Exercise physical distancing and remain at least six feet apart from museum volunteers and other guests during your visit.
- When coughing and sneezing, wear a mask and/or cover your mouth and nose with a flexed elbow or tissue – discard tissue immediately in a trash bin.
- Do not visit the Moss Mansion if you, anyone in your household, or anyone you may have been in contact with in the last 14 days are feeling ill.
- Our usual requests for the care of this historic house museum remain in place.
- Please clean or remove soiled shoes or boots before you enter.
- Do not touch, sit on, or lean against the artifacts inside the building. Everything but the Gift Shop inventory is an artifact.
- Do not use a hot flash when taking pictures.
