SpringFest

Our longstanding tradition on the first Saturday of June features high quality hand-crafted artwork created by regional artists and artisans in over fifty vendor booths on the beautiful Moss grounds. Hundreds of volunteers and generous local sponsors create a vibrant festival atmosphere where thousands enjoy a day of shopping, eating and activity outdoors in the first days of summer. The show is free to attend and includes food and drink booths, live entertainment and artist demonstrations.

Jurists make selections from the applications each March and announce their selections in April. It is a one-day show that attracts local shoppers and tourists from near and far. More information can be requested at springfest@gmail.com. Click for a copy of the most recent application form.

Party for Preservation

Set on the beautiful grounds of the Moss, the evening begins with cocktails and mingling around a silent auction and art sale while live music fills the air. A multi-course dinner is served under the grand tent, with a very energetic live auction and entertainment to follow.

This major fundraiser is generously supported by local sponsors, scores of volunteers, and organized by the Billings Preservation Society Board of Directors and staff. Invitations are required and are obtained by reference or upon request (call 406-256-5100). Donations and portions of purchases made at this event are tax deductible.

Christmas at the Moss

Beginning on or around November 15 each year, Christmas Tree Tours feature magnificently decorated trees in each room. Local charities and businesses use our chosen theme to create stunning trees, and as the season unfolds guests vote on their favorites. The winning trees earn small cash prizes for their chosen charity for Best of Theme and People’s Choice.

A variety of Christmas shows, tours, and parties warm the home with music, laughter, and fine cuisine. Daily and evening tours add particular delight to several winter evenings, and docents and staff enjoy greeting all who brave the winter weather to visit this spectacular place.

Take this exclusive tour through artifacts and decor from the early 20th century and hear the stories and lore surrounding the development of Billings, Montana and the Moss family.

Trunks & Treasures are offered the first Sunday of every month and continue through the year. Admission is $30 per person with a reservation at least three days in advance, limit 12 guests per tour. Call 406-256-5100 or email tours@mossmansion.com to arrange Private Trunks & Treasures tours.
